Founded in 2000, Etilize, Inc. was created to provide product information management solutions to companies selling products online. We quickly discovered that product information creation and rules-based syndication is a daunting challenge for most manufacturers. As manufacturers do not have a structured and standardized feed into resellers’ systems, it is impossible for resellers to aggregate and normalize hundreds and thousands of products properly. Etilize has built a profitable business aggregating product information from thousands of IT, CE, AIDC, sporting goods, professional photography, home and garden equipment, appliances and office products manufacturers and supplying it as ecommerce-ready web content to distributors and resellers. In fact, our database of over two million SKUs contains content from over 2500 manufacturers and is constantly growing. Because of our subject matter expertise, worldwide distribution relationships, economies of scale and offshore cost advantages, we are able to provide the SpeX subscription service at a price our competitors cannot match. Our solution minimizes customers’ spending by eliminating costs related to the maintenance of catalogs and decreasing staffing requirements of database administrators With the unique distinction of serving the largest retailers and distributors in the world, we are one of the only a handful of companies in the world producing information broken down at the atomic or zero-level in a standardized, normalized, multi-lingual and multi-market parametric form for over 12 markets worldwide. We currently have hundreds of active subscribers including some of the biggest retailers in the industry such as Overstock.com, Buy.com, Office Depot and Ritz Camera to name a few. In addition, our distribution partners include heavy weights such as Ingram Micro, Avnet, BDI-Laguna, SED and SP Richards.
